Evidence of skunk ape

Skunk apes, also known as swamp ape, have been seen in the swamp areas of Florida. Reports say that it is 7-8 ft tall, weighing 600 pounds, and with a shaggy coat. Their called skunk apes because you often smell them before you see them. A scent that's the mix of rotten eggs, manure, and skunk spray. Dozens of sightings began popping up in the 1970's, mainly from wildlife and law enforcement facilities. No picture was taken of the creature until 1997, when Vince Doerr, a fire chief in Ochopee, Florida, shot a picture of the creature nearby his home.
